Bron Afon is a social housing organisation dedicated to enhancing the quality of life and opportunities for individuals living in Torfaen and surrounding communities. With a focus on supporting those who face disadvantage and exclusion, their mission is to create a more inclusive environment for all.
Bron Afon approached Darogan Talent with two key challenges. Firstly, they wanted to increase brand visibility among graduates but had limited time to attend career fairs or engage directly with universities, making it difficult to attract graduate talent. Secondly, they needed to explore what the resource capacity and capability they needed to tackle the challenge of decarbonising their housing stock under the new regulatory requirements on the Welsh Housing sector.
To address both challenges, Darogan Talent proposed hiring interns for the project while simultaneously raising Bron Afon’s brand profile among graduates. We took care of advertising the roles, sourcing suitable candidates, and managing the onboarding and contract stages.
Through Darogan, Bron Afon was provided with a high number of high calibre candidates. We successfully provided three interns as agency workers, and throughout the project, Darogan continued to support Bron Afon by handling their monthly payroll and HR functions. This not only saved Bron Afon valuable time but also reduced their HR costs, allowing them to focus on the core objectives of the project.

Mae Bron Afon yn sefydliad tai cymdeithasol sy’n ymroi i wella ansawdd bywyd a chyfleoedd i unigolion sy’n byw yn Nhorfaen a’r cymunedau cyfagos. Gyda ffocws ar gefnogi'r rhai sy'n wynebu anfantais a gwaharddiad, eu nod yw creu amgylchedd mwy cynhwysol i bawb.
Daeth Bron Afon atom gyda dwy her allweddol. Yn gyntaf, roeddent eisiau cynyddu amlygrwydd eu brand ymhlith graddedigion ond roedd amser yn brin i fynychu ffeiriau gyrfa neu ymgysylltu'n uniongyrchol â phrifysgolion, gan ei gwneud yn anodd denu talent raddedig. Yn ail, roedd angen iddynt archwilio'r adnoddau a'r gallu sydd eu hangen arnynt i fynd i'r afael â'r her o ddatgarboneiddio eu stoc tai o dan ofynion newydd ar y sector tai yng Nghymru.
Er mwyn mynd i’r afael â’r ddwy her, cynigiodd Darogan Talent gyflogi interniaid ar gyfer y prosiect tra ar yr un pryd yn codi proffil brand Bron Afon ymhlith graddedigion. Buom yn gofalu am hysbysebu'r rolau, yn dod o hyd i ymgeiswyr addas, ac yn rheoli'r camau cynefino a chontractio.
Trwy Darogan, darparwyd nifer uchel o ymgeiswyr o safon uchel i Bron Afon. Llwyddwyd i ddarparu tri intern fel gweithwyr asiantaeth, a thrwy gydol y prosiect, parhaodd Darogan i gefnogi Bron Afon trwy edrych ar ôl eu swyddogaethau cyflogres ac adnoddau dynol misol. Roedd hyn nid yn unig yn arbed amser gwerthfawr i Bron Afon ond hefyd yn lleihau eu costau adnoddau dynol, gan eu galluogi i ganolbwyntio ar amcanion craidd y prosiect.
Yn hanesyddol, nid ydym wedi cyflogi llawer o raddedigion nac interniaid, felly roedd y prosiect hwn yn gyfle gwych i fanteisio ar y gronfa dalent hon. Ymatebodd Darogan yn gyflym iawn i'n hanghenion staffio, gan ein cysylltu â'u rhwydwaith helaeth o fyfyrwyr, a bu'n gofalu am dasgau recriwtio ac adnoddau dynol fel hysbysebu, cynefino, contractio a chyflogres.
Rydym wedi plesio'n arw gyda gwasanaeth Darogan, ac mae'r interniaid wedi bod yn llwyddiant mawr. Edrychwn ymlaen at gyflogi mwy o interniaid a graddedigion yn y dyfodol!
