Through collaboration with experienced orthopaedic surgeons and healthcare providers, we have developed a patient-specific, precision-based procedure for bone cement removal in major joint revision surgery. Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Research Analyst focused within the field of orthopaedic revision surgery. The Research Analyst will be responsible for:
· Undertaking secondary and primary research.
· Collecting, collating and organising information and data.,
· Conducting data analysis within the field of orthopaedic surgery, personalisation and related fields.
Initially, the role will focus on secondary data research and information collation to support the product development team and the wider field of orthopaedic revision surgery. This will include exploring all aspects of published registries, surgery, patient pathways, healthcare economics and outcomes. You will be building useful information databases and resource reference libraries.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping clinical evaluations of device testing and build strong relationships with our research partners and clinicians in Universities and healthcare providers, both within the UK and potentially internationally.
Person Specification
· Life sciences related degree
· Desirable Master’s Degree in a life science related degree
· Interests in surgical pathways and outcomes
· Advanced secondary research skills and excellent knowledge of health related information systems
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
· Ability to work with complex data
· Advanced Excel and data analytic skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Strong written and presentation skills
· Experience in the orthopaedic or healthcare industry an advantage
· Can do attitude
· Self-starter capable of working alone and within multi-disciplinary teams
· Must be UK Based
The role will involve occasional overnight travel and working from the Amotio office in Cwmbran, home and visiting participating hospitals.
