Finance Officer

We have a fixed-term opportunity for a Finance Officer to join our Finance team until 31 March 2026.

There are different job profiles within the Finance Officer role, so the role will vary depending on business need.

As a Finance Officer, you will:

• Be responsible for the delivery of an accurate and timely income processing service for rent and other income.
• Be responsible for the delivery of a high quality payroll service to employees.
• Deliver a high quality purchase and sales ledger service to Bron Afon’s stakeholders.
• Deliver an accurate and timely treasury and banking service.
• Act as the main point of contact within finance for queries, ensuring high standards of customer service are provided.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:

• Excellent ICT skills, experience using Microsoft office programmes.
• Experience processing high volumes of financial data on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Being detail orientated to ensure accurate processing of financial information.
• Experience using rent accounting systems, finance systems and SharePoint is desirable.
