We’re looking for a graduate to join our thriving practice in M-SParc, Anglesey. If you’re looking to move back to North Wales or are interested in a more rural setting then this could be the role for you. You will:
- Be mentored to gain your full CIAT Chartership or RIBA qualification (sic).
- Meet with new and established clients.
- Learn about the process of preparing fee bids and proposals, assisting in measured surveys, preparing concept designs, visualisations, feasibilities, assisting in preparing and submitting planning and building regulation applications.
- Assist in preparing design and access statements, heritage impact assessments and other supporting documents.
- Produce presentation work, including drawings, renderings, and visualisations, to enhance submissions to clients &planning documents
You must:
- Be able to work independently as part of a small team, reporting to the Director.
- Be proficient in ArchiCAD (conversion training will be provided from SketchUp, Revit, Vectorworks & other design packages) and companion app BIMx & be able use Twinmotion (rendering package).
- Be proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Be enthusiastic and passionate about residential, heritage and commercial design.
- Gain an understanding of construction principles and UK residential planning and building regulations.
- Have good communication skills, be highly motivated with excellent communication and organisation skills.
- Have a keen eye for detail and a flair for design.
